The data processing is carried out in accordance with legal requirements in order to fulfil the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations.
For this purpose, we process your personal data, in particular your health data. This includes anamnesis, diagnoses, treatment suggestions and findings that we or other doctors collect. For these purposes, other doctors or psychotherapists with whom you are receiving treatment may also provide us with data (e.g. in doctor's letters).
The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If the necessary information is not provided, careful treatment cannot be carried out.

3. Recipient of the data

We will only transmit your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent. Recipients of your personal data may primarily be other doctors/psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurance companies, the medical service of the health insurance company, medical associations and private medical billing offices.
The data is primarily transmitted for the purpose of billing for the services provided to you and to clarify medical questions and questions arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data may be transmitted to other authorized recipients.

4. Storage of data

We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to carry out the treatment.
Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to retain this data for at least 10 years after completion of treatment. Other regulations may stipulate longer retention periods, for example 30 years for X-ray records in accordance with Section 28 (3) of the X-ray Ordinance.

5. Your rights

You have the right to receive information about the personal data concerning you. You can also request that incorrect data be corrected.
In addition, under certain conditions you have the right to erasure of data, the right to restriction of data processing and the right to data portability.
Your data is processed on the basis of legal regulations. We only require your consent in exceptional cases. In these cases, you have the right to revoke your consent for future processing.
You also have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority for data protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful. You can find the contact person of the supervisory authority responsible for us here:

6. Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 9 paragraph 2 letter h) GDPR in conjunction with Section 22 paragraph 1 no. 1 letter b) Federal Data Protection Act. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

7. General data collection on our website

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations. When you use this website, personal data is collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you. This privacy policy explains our data collection procedure. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. 8. Notes on media processing

If you are a registered user and upload photos to this website, you should avoid uploading photos with an EXIF GPS location. Visitors to this website could download photos stored on this website and extract their location information.

9. E-Mail

If you contact us by email, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting you (according to Art. 6 Para. 1 GDPR). A valid email address is required for this. This address is used to assign your request and to subsequently answer it. We require the following personal data to contact you:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • E-mail address

  • Message subject

  • Message text

  • A confirmation that you have read our privacy policy

 

The information you provide will be stored on our email server for the purpose of processing your request and for possible follow-up questions. The data will be stored in accordance with point 4 of this declaration.

10. Cookies

If you have an account with us and you log in to this website, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set up some cookies to save your login information and display choices. Login cookies expire after two days and display choices cookies expire after one year. If you select "Keep Me Logged In" when you log in, your login will remain active for two weeks. When you log out of your account, login cookies will be deleted.
When you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only refers to the post ID of the article you just edited. The cookie expires after one day.
You can instruct your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies or to generally exclude the acceptance of cookies. In addition, your browser can delete cookies when closing at your instruction. Deactivating cookies may hinder the functionality of this website.

11. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

12. Analysis services & server log files (e.g. Google Maps or Google Analytics)

We do not actively use any analysis services. We would like to point out that you will be informed here about all services that are active when you use our website.
Our provider may collect the following server log files when you visit our website:

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

The Google Maps service is used to display a map of our location. This service transmits the visitor's IP address to the Google Maps tile server. The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to the provider of Google Maps. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • Operating system used

  • referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

13. Google reCaptcha

We want to make sure that no bots or unwanted automated activities take place on our website.

Recaptcha collects information to monitor user activity on our website and identify suspicious activity. This includes, for example:

  • IP address and referrer URL

  • operating system

  • Cookies

  • Mouse movements/keystrokes

  • Length of stay

  • Device settings (e.g. language settings or location)

 

The use of Recaptcha is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

The data collected through Recaptcha is stored for a limited period of time to investigate possible security breaches and to ensure the functionality of Recaptcha. After this period, the data is deleted unless it needs to be retained for legal purposes.

The provision of data is voluntary. You have the right to object to the use of Recaptcha by not using our website or by deactivating the use of cookies in your browser settings. Please note, however, that this may affect the functionality of our website.

14. How long we store data of registered users

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (the user name cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and change this information.

16. Objection to emails for advertising purposes
