The health insurance companies in Germany also pay for dental treatments that many people in Europe dream of. However, they ultimately do not reflect the current state of treatment options and the costs involved. The BEMA and GOZ fee schedules are essentially more than thirty years old.
If you receive services that go beyond the standard of health insurance benefits, it is helpful to cushion the costs that arise. Please consider taking out additional dental insurance. Private patients should ensure that they are not only insured at the basic rate, but also have insurance cover above a factor of 2.3 up to a factor of 3.5. Complex planning is always done in writing in advance and can be submitted to the insurers.
If you incur costs during treatment, it is possible to pay these in cash or by debit card in the practice. It is also possible to have the bill sent to your home and pay it by bank transfer within four weeks.
We work with the billing center of Health AG Hamburg, for which we require your consent, which is updated annually. This means you can receive up to twelve interest-free installments if you wish. We can offer higher amounts or longer terms with dent.apart®.
Statutory health insurance companies reimburse a portion of the prophylactic costs each year.
